Transit began on a night out in the winding streets of the Marais in the 1980s. Among the bright lights and tables of a bar, two Danish designers pictured their future with a clear vision to transform natural materials into magnificent objects for the everyday. Products built on passion and tireless experimentation.
A number of decades have passed along with numerous challenges, the two Danish designers have been replaced by Italian creative talents. Keeping the vibrant, lively spirit of those early days alive, Transit has preserved the human touch to deliver a signature look through refined workmanship.
